
Clemson Family Picnic – Brookeville Beer Farm

Enjoy great beer and the natural beauty of this highly acclaimed craft brewery for what promises to be a special day of Clemson cheer. Activities include complimentary beer tastings led by the Head Brewer, a “Hives, Honey and Hops” tour of the grounds by co-owners, Lisa and Tim McDonnell P’25, a GaGa Ball pit for the kids, corn hole, and a 10% discount off all beer and food (including delicious, hand-made, brick oven pizzas). Club Member early bird tickets are $7 each (max of 4 at this price) and Member’s children tickets (under 21) are $3 each (max of 6 at this price). These prices will increase on March 31. Join fellow Tiger fans to discuss the current football season. Lunch and discussion will be Thursday, October 5, 12:00pm – 1:00pm at Allen Martin’s office, 499 South Capitol Street, SW, Suite 600, Washington DC. Lunch will be served. Guest speaker will be Tim Bourret, known for his extensive knowledge of all things Clemson Sports. Tim, a Notre Dame graduate student, traveled to Clemson in 1977 for the Clemson vs. Notre Dame game. He was so impressed with the atmosphere, he returned as an Assistant Sports Information Director a year later and has stayed at Clemson ever since. Come out to hear about his long-time Clemson career and tap into his encyclopedia of Tiger Sports.

Mount Vernon Fall Clean Up Day

Join us for this fun morning outside as we experience George Washington’s Mount Vernon in all its fall glory. We’ll help clean up the estate’s surrounding forest areas and have great fun doing so. This is a family friendly event and children (ages 10+) are encouraged to attend. Water, gloves, and lots of good humor will be provided, and lunch will be served.
As you work, Dean Norton ‘77 will share stories about the historic property and take you places that are not open to the public. Registration is limited to just 25 guests – so don’t delay. This event is free for current Club members and $30 for non-members.
